Why we exist
Applying for citizenship means reading forms, policy manuals, and test materials written for lawyers and officers. The official information is there, but it is spread across many pages and rarely in plain language.
We bring it together, explain it step by step, and point you back to the official source for every fact, so you can check it yourself.
How we work
A few rules shape everything on this site.
Official sources only
Every fee, date, and test rule comes from USCIS, the Federal Register, or another government source, and each one links to it. News and blogs are never our source.
Dated and reviewed
Each guide shows when it was last reviewed, and time-sensitive facts say when they were checked. When an official rule changes, we record it on What's Changed.
Spanish written for Spanish readers
Our Spanish guides are adapted, not translated word for word, using the terms USCIS uses in Spanish. Facts and sources match the English versions exactly.
Private by design
You don't need an account for the guides or free tools. Tools save your progress only in your browser. Addresses typed into the local answers lookup are used to find your district and are never logged or stored. We use analytics to see how the site is used, never for advertising.
Who we are
Citizenshiply is run by an independent team. We keep the focus on the information rather than on ourselves. Every guide is reviewed by the Citizenshiply Team before it is published, and every fact links to its official source, so you never have to take our word for it.

What we are not
- We are not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice.
- We are not affiliated with USCIS or any government agency.
- We can't guarantee any result. No guide, tool, or study method can promise approval.
If your situation is complicated, such as a past arrest, long trips abroad, or an earlier immigration problem, a legal professional can look at your case.
